Disco Bloodbath Halloween Special
Presented by Faith In Strangers
About this event
This Halloween we have a very special party indeed. A reunion, a disco-communion, a dance floor institution!
Be prepared. Possibly scared? It’s been 10 years since the trio have all played together.
Disco Bloodbath was a chaotic, influential, life-affirming party (and DJ‘collective’) that started life in the basement of a defunct restaurant on the Dalston end of Amhurst Road in 2007. Three friends, Dan Beaumont, Damon Martin and Ben Pistor were the promoters, resident DJs and occasional door people. The party gained cult status for the heady combination of classic disco, italo, and proto-house along with contemporary bangers that took the trio across Europe, Japan and the UK festival circuit. While minimal techno and electro house dominated London’s bigger dancefloors, Disco Bloodbath was the only place you might hear Debbie Jacobs, LCD Soundsystem and Robert Armani within the space of an hour.
