Faith In Strangers is a 350 capac­i­ty bar and mod­ern dis­coteque, kitchen, music and arts venue com­bined with a work­space and cowork­ing for cre­ative indi­vid­u­als based in the heart of Cliftonville, Mar­gate. We are about expos­ing and explor­ing new art forms; dis­cov­er­ing and shar­ing new expe­ri­ences with friends, lovers, and part­ners enjoy­ing music, arts, tech­nol­o­gy, movies, doc­u­men­taries, talks, trav­el, cof­fee, wine, food, cock­tails, ideas, new expe­ri­ences and challenges.

Faith In Strangers was found­ed in Jan­u­ary 2018, by two school friends who fell in love with a dilap­i­dat­ed build­ing with inspi­ra­tional views and a long his­to­ry of bring­ing peo­ple togeth­er. The 60’s mod­ernist build­ing was pre­vi­ous­ly the home to Starlight Lounge mem­bers club and more recent­ly Frank’s night­club, but had been sad­ly for­got­ten and left to decay. By Sep­tem­ber 2019 the build­ing had been refur­bished and began a new chap­ter in its his­to­ry, as Faith In Strangers.

As we all emerge from the trou­bles and tragedies of the Covid pan­dem­ic, we count our­selves for­tu­nate that we are in a posi­tion to re-open to the pub­lic. We want Faith In Strangers to be a place where peo­ple recon­nect; come with an open heart and a will­ing­ness to accept each oth­er’s dif­fer­ences and you will be welcomed.
